Man With Pinky-Sized Penis Shares Update After Strangers Rally Behind His Story

A man who claims to have one of the world’s smallest penises has shared an update after hundreds of strangers stepped forward to support him financially. The donations are helping 38-year-old Michael Phillips pursue a medical procedure that he hopes will improve his daily life and allow him to live with greater confidence, comfort, and independence.

Phillips, from South Carolina, says his penis measures only 0.38 inches when fully erect—about the size of a pinky fingernail. He has been diagnosed with micropenis, a rare medical condition that has affected not only his confidence and relationships but also practical aspects of his everyday life.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, micropenis in adults is generally diagnosed when the stretched penile length is 2.67 inches or less, compared with an average stretched length of around 5.25 inches.

For Phillips, however, the numbers represent much more than a medical measurement.

He says the condition has been a constant source of frustration and embarrassment and has had a significant impact on his personal life.

“I Avoid Relationships Because of It”

In February 2026, Phillips opened up about his situation during an interview with TMZ. He even challenged anyone who believed they had a smaller penis to come forward.

While the unusual claim attracted plenty of attention, Phillips said his main goal was to explain how the condition has affected him personally.

He described himself as introverted and said his dating life has been particularly difficult because of his condition. According to Phillips, there have also been several occasions when penetrative sex was unsuccessful.

He has also experienced difficulties when urinating, saying that controlling the direction can be challenging and often creates additional problems.

Strangers Step In to Help

On June 25, Phillips launched a GoFundMe campaign titled “Help Michael Get Micropenis Enlargement Procedure.” He explained that his doctor had recommended a medical procedure that could increase the size and girth of his penis and potentially make urination easier.

Phillips said he had been advised to use pull-ups unless he underwent treatment.

“This has affected my confidence and independence,” he explained in his fundraising appeal.

He acknowledged that the procedure would not cure his condition, but said it could make a meaningful difference in his everyday life by reducing his dependence on pull-ups and helping him feel more comfortable.

The response was far greater than he expected.

By August 11, more than 310 people had donated nearly $14,000 to the campaign, giving Phillips enough financial support to move forward with his plans.

A Doctor Offers to Help for Free

Phillips’ story also caught the attention of Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Dorman. After learning about the difficulties Phillips described, Dorman reportedly offered to perform an injection treatment at no cost.

Despite the generous offer, Phillips had already decided to have his treatment performed closer to home.

He said he had booked the procedure and planned to use the money raised through the campaign for surgery and injections that could help increase girth and improve his comfort.

For Phillips, the support has meant much more than simply reaching a fundraising goal.

He said he never expected so many strangers to care about his situation or be willing to help someone they had never met.

“I never thought anyone would care enough to help,” Phillips said, adding that he is “extremely grateful” for the support.

Now, with his procedure scheduled and hundreds of people behind him, Phillips hopes the treatment will help him regain a greater sense of normalcy and independence.

His story has sparked a wide range of reactions online, but for Phillips, the most important part appears to be the compassion he received from complete strangers when he decided to speak openly about something deeply personal.
