The former congresswoman married conservative journalist Brian Glenn on Tuesday, July 28, during an intimate ceremony at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Surrounded by close family and friends, the couple exchanged vows on the resort’s Terrazza di Sogno terrace, with the iconic Bellagio fountains creating a breathtaking backdrop.
For the ceremony, Greene wore a sleeveless white gown featuring delicate lace detailing, a fitted bodice, and a flowing asymmetrical skirt. She completed the look with layered necklaces, elegant earrings, a bracelet, a sophisticated updo, and a bouquet of white, pink, and red roses.
However, the biggest surprise came later in the evening.
The Bride Chose Comfort Over Heels
After the ceremony, Greene and Glenn celebrated inside the Bellagio casino, where they were photographed walking through the gaming floor with family and guests. As Greene lifted the hem of her dress while making her way through the casino, photographers captured an unexpected detail.
Instead of wearing traditional bridal heels, she had swapped them for a pair of simple white sneakers.
The practical choice quickly drew attention online. While some people joked about the unexpected combination of an elegant lace gown and casual sneakers, others praised Greene for choosing comfort on a night that involved plenty of walking.
Photos showed the white sneakers peeking out beneath her flowing gown as the newlyweds moved between slot machines, gaming tables, and other casino attractions.

Rather than hosting a traditional reception, the couple embraced the city’s signature atmosphere. Still dressed in their wedding attire, Greene and Glenn were seen exploring the casino with loved ones while a cameraman documented the celebration.
The newlyweds tried their luck at craps, roulette, and slot machines, turning their wedding night into a uniquely Las Vegas experience. Greene was even photographed playing craps for several minutes before moving on to other games, with the couple laughing and celebrating throughout the evening.
As the festivities continued, Greene’s decision to wear sneakers seemed even more practical, allowing her to comfortably enjoy every part of the celebration without worrying about uncomfortable heels.
Greene and Glenn obtained their marriage license on July 24 before saying “I do” four days later. Following the ceremony, Greene shared photos from the wedding on social media, announcing that the couple had exchanged vows surrounded by their families.
The pair first met in 2022 and began dating the following year after both finalized divorces from their previous spouses. Greene was previously married to Perry Greene, with whom she shares three children: Lauren, Derek, and Taylor. Glenn was formerly married to Kerry Michelle Glenn.
