Sometimes soup, sometimes homemade meals, even pies he made himself. He\u2019d ask me to buy groceries just so he could cook something warm for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The old man would sometimes tear up while thanking him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liam also gathered blankets and warm clothes to help him survive the cold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We even offered him a place to stay or a shelter, but he always refused.
