When Dolly Parton passed away on August 25, Kacey Musgraves was among the countless artists who took to social media to share their emotional reactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the news first broke, Musgraves left several heartfelt comments on another post, writing, \u201cThis really hurts,\u201d \u201cThe world feels a lot less sparkly all of a sudden,\u201d and \u201cSo glad she\u2019s with her Carl Dean. No one talk to me today.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later that day, Musgraves shared a selfie she had taken with Dolly many years ago, simply adding a heart emoji to the touching memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fans also praised Musgraves for honoring the country legend during a recent performance. One person wrote, \u201cThank you for sharing this song with us. We need it,\u201d while another added, \u201cThis was so special last night.. thanks for sharing it with Boston.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musgraves performed Dolly Parton\u2019s beloved hit \u201cHere You Come Again,\u201d the song that earned Parton her first-ever Grammy Award in 1979.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her emotional two-song tribute quickly received plenty of love online, with many fans calling it one of the most beautiful tributes to Dolly they have seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
