Her team later revealed that she had been dealing with a brief battle with cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following Dolly\u2019s passing, fans around the world have found countless ways to celebrate her remarkable life and legacy. Tickets will be available through AMC\u2019s Fans Fave pricing tier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For those living in Dolly\u2019s home state of Tennessee, Regal Cinemas will also be showing the two films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tickets are priced at just $9.25 \u2014 a special nod to Dolly\u2019s iconic hit \u201c9 to 5.\u201d Even more meaningfully, all proceeds will benefit Dolly\u2019s childhood literacy organization, Imagination Library, as well as East Tennessee Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About <em>The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas<\/em> &amp; <em>Steel Magnolias<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout her legendary career, Dolly Parton proved she was much more than a country music superstar. Along with becoming one of the most successful singers and songwriters of all time \u2014 earning 25 No. 1 hits and 11 Grammy Awards \u2014 she also built an impressive career as an actress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among her best-known film roles were <em>9 to 5<\/em> (1980), <em>The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas<\/em> (1982), <em>Rhinestone<\/em> (1984), and <em>Steel Magnolias<\/em> (1989).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas<\/em> is a musical comedy starring Dolly alongside Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuise. Dolly portrays Miss Mona, the owner of a Texas brothel known as the Chicken Ranch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her business comes under attack after a television personality makes it his personal mission to have it shut down.
