Later that day, her team revealed that Dolly had died following a brief battle with cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Given how influential and beloved Dolly was, tributes quickly began pouring in from fans, brands, and celebrities. Many of those tributes have highlighted Dolly\u2019s kindness, generosity, and unmistakable sense of humor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most emotional tributes came from actor Kevin Costner. He shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram Story, writing: \u201cOh my goodness. Where did you go Dolly? We are all breathless. Costner starred alongside Houston in the movie and also served as a producer. The former <em>Yellowstone<\/em> star thanked Dolly for \u201ctrusting\u201d him and Whitney with the song all those years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He concluded his emotional message by writing, \u201cWe are all at a loss this moment. Forgive us but we will miss you so much.
