The hit competition series, Dancing with the Stars (DWTS), is getting ready for its milestone 35th season. The new season premieres on September 15 and will once again pair celebrities with professional dancers as they compete in weekly performances for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.
The full celebrity cast was officially revealed on September 2. Hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro are returning, along with judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli.
While appearing on Good Morning America to celebrate the upcoming season, the hosts and judges looked back on one of the show’s most unforgettable moments—Dolly Parton’s visit to the DWTS ballroom. They fondly remembered the country music legend, calling her an inspiration and reflecting on the joy she brought to the set.
Parton appeared during season 20, where she delivered a lively performance of her classic hit, “9 to 5,” while Julianne Hough, Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, and Cheryl Burke danced alongside her.
