30+ Opry Family Members Join “9 to 5” Grand Finale In Tribute To Dolly Parton

Dolly Parton Honored During Emotional Night At The Grand Ole Opry

The Grand Ole Opry honored the life and lasting legacy of country music legend Dolly Parton on Saturday night. Members of the Opry family gathered onstage for a touching tribute following the heartbreaking news of her death earlier this week.

Carly Pearce opened the emotional evening with a moving performance of “Those Memories of You.” Pearce, who previously performed at Dollywood, became an official member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2021 after receiving an invitation from Dolly herself.

“It only feels right that I get to honor the queen tonight. Dolly, we love you,” Carly said.

The tribute followed the Grand Ole Opry’s tradition of honoring a beloved Opry member on the first Saturday following their passing. While Saturday’s performances offered a heartfelt remembrance, a larger and more official tribute dedicated entirely to Dolly is expected to take place in the future.
