A Saturday afternoon at one of Idaho’s newest In-N-Out Burger locations turned into a horrific tragedy when a gunman opened fire, leaving three people dead and seven others injured before taking his own life.
Authorities identified the shooter Sunday as 24-year-old Chad Williams and said they believe he acted alone. Investigators are continuing to search for answers and determine what may have led to the deadly attack.
Police said hundreds of witnesses could be interviewed as they work to reconstruct the events surrounding the shooting.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the In-N-Out restaurant on Blue Lakes Boulevard North in Twin Falls. The location had opened only eight days earlier, marking the company’s fourth restaurant in Idaho.
