For most people, changing their hairstyle or wardrobe is enough to feel different. But for Patrick Mast, transformation became a lifelong journey.
Over the course of nearly 10 years, Patrick spent more than $73,000 on cosmetic procedures to achieve the doll-like appearance he had dreamed about since he was young. His dramatic look quickly gained attention online, with many people shocked by how much he changed over time.
Patrick says he never wanted to become someone else or change his gender. Instead, he explains that he simply feels happier with a softer, more feminine appearance that reflects how he sees himself. Inspired by dolls and their “perfect” features, he slowly transformed his face and style through numerous surgeries and cosmetic enhancements.
The attention hasn’t always been positive. While some admire his confidence and unique appearance, others have criticized him harshly online. Still, Patrick says he has learned to ignore the hate and focus on what makes him feel confident.
“I like standing out,” he has said in interviews, even admitting that the reactions from strangers no longer bother him.
